Delivering and keeping everyone happy.

This is what I am all about, and that is another truck delivered. It is so important things go well, and everyone is happy from the customer to the truck, and the receiver.

Often there are problems to figure out, some are truck based, other times they are customer or receiver related.

For the problems that we have control over, they need to be reviewed, and fixes implemented to overcome. If one does not succeed the first time, try again.

I have had to deal with problems from all sides, and the hardest ones to fix are customer related. When the customer feels they have an endless supply of trucks, they refuse to fix a problem. It does not make moving their freight cheap or easy. The truth is it is a small world out there and once you have wronged someone; it is likely they will not work for you again. Sure, you can get away with it for a while, but making it a practice is bad business.

Eventually, drivers who run your lane will either take one of the loads or knows another guy who had. Once the word is out, they will not be back. Finding trucks becomes looking for a new unsuspecting carrier to take advantage of every time, because repeat trucks do not happen.

Sometimes a customer must be told that these people do not have to work for you and if you do not change, they will find work elsewhere.
