I may be losing a friend very soon.
His name is not something I will share out of respect for him, and his family.
A very impressive young man who was running a major construction site at the young age of 21. I worked with him for a few years moving the equipment they used. I never knew he was so young until someone told me how old he was. This person had a very special cool about him that you don't find often. A real "old soul" as some would say.
Last Sunday he was out riding his motorcycle when he suffered a head injury that has left him with no brain activity. Currently he is still alive but it does not look good at all.
His job site has been put on hold for a week for his crew who loved him so much to be able to attend a funeral, and find some closure.
I would like to attend the funeral for this young man even as difficult as it is for me to travel right now. I may have to settle for flowers to be sent.
He will be missed by many people way too young to die.
