This truck is called Stampede a full-on show rig, I don’t know if it has ever been legitimately worked. It was built by PDI Diesel out of St George Utah. I believe they still own this one, and I want to say it has a matching cattle pot to go with it.
My friend had bought a copy of Stampede from PDI. Steve was running it up until he was rear ended outside St George Utah. The vehicle that hit him was a loaded hot shot being piloted by a US veteran. Best we can tell he fell asleep at the wheel and drifted off the road hitting the parked truck.
Steve was lucky he still had his seat belt on. The hit was so violent it bent the frame rails in the Peterbilt and destroyed the trailer. He still has aches and pains from the wreck but is doing ok almost a year later.
His truck went back to PDI and was completely torn down and refurbished with a new frame. I think Steve took it out for a short spin once, or twice to say he did it. The truck was sold recently, and I cannot blame a guy for wanting to try something else. A man of many talents I wish him the best on his future.
