Since I have worked from home for a few years now, it is nice to get out of the office. Tereza will be the first person to tell you that, I am almost always behind the desk.
I feel fortunate to have a close friend who is also a local business owner. We get together occasionally to have lunch when time permits. Jamey has a couple of classic cars at his disposal, that he chooses from when he stops by. The car Jamey was driving today was his Grandfather’s weekend cruiser a 1966 Ford Galaxy convertible. Jamey has had the car since his grandfather had passed some time ago. It is well loved, and he calls it Grandpa.
Since I have been into cars for ever my friend often looks to me for advice. One thing I could not stress enough was it needed disc brakes, as an insurance policy. I can say Jamey has taken the advice, and Grandpa now wears disc brakes on the front end, with the thought of adding them to the rear as well. In today’s world cars stop better than ever, and if he intends to continue to drive the fifty-five-year-old car it needs the extra stopping power.
Grandpa runs good and Jamie takes great care to ensure it will be preserved for the future generations of his family to enjoy.
