The great Corvette debacle of 2020 - part 3

Before the story goes any further, I need to point out that I have built race cars on a professional level. Now back to the story.

The Passenger tire had taken air with no issue, then I moved to the driver’s side tire. I attempted to put air into that tire. It turns out someone had bent the valve stem (most likely from deflating both rear tires for more traction). It deflated the rest of the way and it had zero air pressure, according to the sensor reading on the dash.

It was about this time there was some locals having relationship problems, screaming at each other before one of them got into a car and sped away. That person came to ask if they could use my phone to call for a ride, they left shortly after that.

I had to tell my wife we were stuck here until we could get a tow truck. Tereza was not pleased, she was tired from working all day and then flying all night to wind up sitting in a parking lot of a convenience store that was now closed.

It was at this point I called the car rental agency for roadside assistance. The wife and I tried to make the best of it sitting in the Corvette as the time passed.

Next thing I know a car with items piled high inside pulls in, and parks not far from the Corvette.
