The multiple broker complex, and the negative environment it produces.

I got a call to work for a new client recently. While setting up it came to light that they had multiple brokers. It was at this point I said, “no thank you”.

Ultimately, when you have broker’s competing for a load, the lying, cheating, or just plain taking advantage of someone who does not know any better, is what happens every time.

In turn the clients never understand why the truck’s they use are almost always a problem. They say things like, “well they got paid, didn’t they?” The truth is they are not happy with the deal, and it is very likely they will not work for you again. Some clients see that as, “oh well, there are a lot more trucks out there.” Eventually the word is out, and it gets harder to find a truck than ever.

The right way to handle your freight, is to hire one experienced professional you can trust, not twenty amateurs. I develop relationships, am honest about the freight and pay fairly. When I need a truck for that account it is no problem, because of repeat trucks who want to be there, and want to work for me.

That is a positive operation that people want to be part of. The other situation creates a negative environment for you, your people, and the client who receives the load.

Let me fix your multiple broker complex and contact me today.
