That is right now during this stretch between Christmas and New Years day. So many guys go home to be with their families because they are gone most the year and school is out. Not to mention the big family gatherings most people have at this time of year, that you like to make an appearance at, so the family knows you are still around.

It can make it harder and more expensive to get a truck loaded during this time of year but not everyone goes home. If you had a bad year and are struggling, you must work to keep the bills paid and the lights on. There are trucks just not as many and these folks will want to be paid well for their time.
