This year we got access to a new tool that customers love, and it works great. What is it? Real time truck tracking. I can not tell you how many times I have been asked what the trucks E.T.A. is? The only way to obtain that for years has been to call that individual on the phone. Before the invention of cellular phones, we had to depend on the truck calling in when they got to a pay phone.

Now most truckers I know hate being tracked but this is becoming more common and should be considered part of the trade. They all say it is an invasion of their privacy and to be honest they are being paid to do a job we are just keeping better track of them than ever before.
